Bog vegetation includes communities of M. japonica-Sphagnum papillosum and M. japonica-S. palustre. Nuphar pumilum var. ozeense also grows here.
Insects Wetlands in Kurikoma-yama (including snow patches in Kurikoma-yama, Sekai-yachi and Gozakobashiri) Habitat of boreal beetles including Hydroporus tokui, Pterostichus thunbergi and Plateumaris sericea.
