Nearshore waters from
Oma in Esan-cho to Koyasu in Toi-cho. There occur six species of
Laminariales. Distribution limits of both warm- and cold-current
marine algae, which change depending on the condition of both currents,
are recognized in these areas. It is known that Laminaria japonica
found here vary from that of other areas morphologically and
ecologically. |
