Naha C Tidal flats Shorebirds Gushi-higata Relatively many bird species are observed in relatively large population sizes during the spring and autumn migrating seasons and the wintering season. Visitation of more than 0.25% of the minimum estimated population of Heteroscelus brevipes has been recorded. Visitation of Tringa totanus, Himantopus himantopus and Numenius madagascariensis (all RDB species) has also been recorded.

Armatocillenus yokohamae occurs in the rocky intertidal zone.
