Swamps and fens cover
the areas with communities of Phragmites communis-Calamagrostis
langsdorffii, Myrica gale var. tomentosa-Carex lasiocarpa
var. occultans, C. lyngbyei and forests of Alnus japonica.
Moliniopsis japonica communities are also found, though small
in scale. The marshes support communities of Scirpus tabernaemontani,
Zizania latifolia and Menyanthes trifoliata, as well
as aquatic plant communities including Persicaria amphibia, Trapa
japonica, Utricularia australis, Nuphar japonicum and Brasenia
schreberii. |
