Sargassum beds, Ecklonia cava and E. kurome beds coexist in these areas with high biodiversity. They also provide habitat for Undaria pinnatifida. Uchino-umi inlet supports the only Zostera beds of substantial size on the Shikoku side in the Seto Inland Sea. |
