Habitat of Gelidium elegans where Sargassum species and Eckloniopsis radicosa coexist. These sea areas are rich in biodiversity. (Note): Attention must be paid as there is a high possibility that these seaweed beds are feeding grounds of green turtle Chelonia mydas.
