Shiretoko-hanto alpine bogs (Rausu-ko,
Futatsu-ike and Shiretoko-numa) |
[Rausu-ko (lake)]: On the lakeshore
of Rausu-ko and in small marshes scattered in its vicinity occur
communities of Equisetum limosum, Carex lyngbyei, C. lasiocarpa
var. occultans, C. vesicaria, Phragmites communis-Calamagrostis
langsdorffii, Geum pentapetalum-Sphagnum papillosum and Sparganium
hyperboreum.
[Futatsu-ike (pond)]: Around the pond occurs an alpine bog, which
hosts communities of Carex limosa, Geum pentapetalum-Sphagnum
papillosum, Scirpus maximowiczii and Loiseleuria procumbens-Vaccinium
uliginosum.
[Shiretoko-numa (marsh)]: There occur Geum pentapetalum-Sphagnum
papillosum communities. |
